Managers and Coaches:

In addition to mailing in the game report gards, please send all scores to scores@eatsidekickers.org after every game, for both boys and girls. This will be sure that the scores get to the right people for posting on the league websites.

In addition, game reports and/or photos can be sent to webmaster@eastsidekickers.org. I'd love to see us posting information about the games on the website.

With Girls Tryouts canceled, we will try to find another time. Of course, the big issue is that we have so many makeup games scheduled.

U8 Boys at Mentor are playing at Mentor Beach Park, not at Kruger Park. If you use the address given on Google Maps, you're a little off, because maps get confused by the difference between Lakeshore Rd in Mentor and Lakeshore Rd in Mentor-on-the-lake. If you're having problems finding it, use the address of the "Skateland One", 5615 Andrews Road Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH 44060 then go straight North on Andrews, it will end at Mentor Beach Park. http://goo.gl/maps/pM85

The U11 boys are playing at Liberty Park in Twinsburg. The OASL map places you a little noth of where you want to be. The entrance to the park is near 9297 Liberty Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087 http://goo.gl/maps/gsIn . Take 271 to 480 East. Get off on the Rt. 82 exit, Left on 82 (Aurora Rd), it becomes Cannon Rd, then turn left on Liberty. The park is on the right.

Centers of Excellence is canceled for May 3rd. Canterbury just isn't in condition to handle today's rain. We are checking to see if we have permission to hold make up dates on Tuesday, May 24th at Canterbury and Thursday, May 19th and 26th at Roxboro. Please stay tuned for updates.

NOTE: THERE IS A U10 Game Scheduled for Boulevard this evening. IF WE PLAY IT, IT WILL BE MOVED TO MONTICELLO. (A police vehicle drove onto the field at Boulevard and damaged the turf). We will evaluate at 2:15 and decide whether Monticello is playable. Please stay tuned.

Fields are saturated and are going to need a few days of dry weather to be usable. We will contact coaches about alternate practice arrangements.

Well, we're starting to get used to the rain. In that spirit, Coach Sean has secured the Rox Gym from 5:30-7pm tonight for footskills!!!

Most communities with grass fields are closing their fields due to standing water this weekend. Our away games at Orange have been moved to the indoor fields at the Force (U8 2pm Northfield, U11 4pm Richmond). Our games at Shaker, Hudson and Mentor have been canceled.

Kenston has a turf field, so U8 girls will be fine. We haven't heard anything from Chagrin for the U10B girls.

Forest Hills conditions: Saturday morning, one field was playable, one had standing water. Forest Hills usually dries quickly, so we're hoping that it clears up in the 80 degree temps forecast for tomorrow.

Monticello: Expect it to be soft and probably muddy, but Monticello usually drains well. Thursday it was in OK conditions. We will check it Sunday morning to be sure.

Canterbury: Muddy, but it didn't seem to have any standing water that would render it unplayable.
