The boys U8 team played SEL today at 2pm. This is the same team we played twice during the outdoor season and once during the Mentor tournament, and lost each time. Goals by Charlie, Connor and Baseer, plus a Hat trick by BJ featuring a PK and 2 assists from Liam, combined with SOLID defense, with Dylan on the left and Gavin on the right, and OUTSTANDING goalkeeping by Josh and Charlie led to a hard-fought 6-4 win and 2 lead changes! The team used good ball movement and positioning to beat our rivals. After a close 3-2 loss last week, we're 1-1 and ready for a Noon game next week! |
